How it Works
Rob is well-placed to ensure appropriate project governance, by implementing a project office and/or working on a Project Board / Steering Committee.
When establishing a Project Office (or Program Office), Rob will commence by meeting the leaders involved, project and operational, gathering the information needed to profile historical and future projects. From there, he’ll develop a proposed Implementation Plan, which will outline the resources and methods to be employed, and the timeline for implementation.
Rob is also well-placed to take a governance or audit position on a Project or Program Board. Rob has the experience needed to ensure that the project team have the controls in place to ensure proper risk management, and end-to-end successful project execution, regardless of the methodology employed, be it Agile or Traditional or a mix of both.
Finally, Rob is also able to work as a coach supporting your project leaders, helping ensure success and further develop their capability - allowing you to invest in project success and develop your key talent in parallel.
Project Delivery

Rob is a proven Information Technology Program and Project manager, with over 20 years experience governing and directly leading projects. He has personally delivered over $80m of projects.
He is an expert in both traditional and Agile project management, having been a Certified Project Management Professional and a PRINCE2 Practitioner, as well as an Agile coach.
He is also certified in the Governance of IT, from ISACA.
How it Works
For larger projects/programs, demanding a highly experienced leader, Rob is able to take the position as Project/Program Manager. In this position, Rob can take the project from inception to execution and close.
During inception, Rob can help define the Project Charter (high-level scope statement), business case, project organisation and appropriate methodologies. He can also form the Project Board and Teams, ensure appropriate controls are in-place and complete all project plans (including business case, change management plans and the like).
During execution, Rob will manage the project team to deliver the scope of the project, to the required quality whilst managing risks and issues. He will also provide detailed stage/sprint plans, reports and forecasts.
At the end of the project, he will disband the project team and close out the project files, including providing an End Project Report and assessing Business Case realisation.
Throughout the project, Rob will share his knowledge and experience, with the aim of embedding knowledge and further developing your team.
Change Management
Ensure that all stakeholders are taken on the journey and supported through the change.
Over the past 20 years, Rob has led initiatives that have changed the way people work, how companies operate and how clients engage.
He has proven structures and processes, and the demonstrated ability to help lead you through your change management efforts.
How it Works
Rob will start by understanding the business environment and the objectives, scope and timeline of the change effort, captured within a Change Management Plan, supported by Communication and Engagement Plans.
He’ll work with the business to deliver the Change Management Plan, which will define the scope and impact of the change, related activities and affected parties. The needs of each party will be analysed, identifying the leadership, communication and training needed to implement and embed change.
From there, Rob will work with leaders to deliver the needed Communication and Engagement Plan(s), recognising each parties needs and ensuring appropriate communication and messaging. These plans will group affected parties into cohorts based on their needs, then categorise and match to the cohorts the required communication and engagement activities.
To drive the change, Rob can oversee the execution of the change effort, managing change within the business, making any necessary adjustments to drive the best outcome for the both the affected parties and the business.
